Rmv drum addiction by linplug is a virtual instrument audio plugin for macos and windows. linplug's rm iv was a fine drum machine in its day, but it's been looking decidedly long in the tooth of late. Linplug rmv is a complete drum workstation by ben rogerson published septemsynths, sampling, loop slicing and more the fifth amendment: rmv promises to be linplug's best drum solution yet. I could have Group A as internal samples and then set up Group B as a set of Midi Out notes (like Sowari's Group file that can be downloaded) but it doesn't seem very plug and play (I'd have to copy patterns between Groups all the time).Linplug Rmv Percussion Synth Sampler Updated To V5 1 Sale Just wondered if anyone had found a satisfactory way to make the switching of internal samples to midi out vst notes workable? The good news is that the Pad root note stays the same but I still have to change the Sample's Root note on every sample that I audition to hear the right pitch. the pattern plays at the right pitch but the pad then plays 2 octaves lower. I can transpose the kick drum pattern two octaves to offset this. Once I have done this, I can then change the Pad to Midi Out mode and audition the kicks from another VST and hear kicks (rather than the shakers which play at C3!) which is perfect but if I go back to Sampler Mode and load in a Maschine Sample the pad/sample/note defaults back to C3. I know that I can alter the root note of the sample to C1 from C3 (by going into Sample, Map, Root) but then I also have to alter the root note option in either Pad or Step Mode to get the sample's pitch correct. The issue I'm having is that (for example) most kicks are generally triggered everywhere else using midi note C1 but all samples loaded up in Maschine seem to default to C3. Perhaps returning to Maschine's samples or then try out some kicks in Battery. The idea being I have a pattern playing and I might audition some kicks from Maschine but then try out kicks from Linplug's RMV. I'm looking to make a Kore instrument that will allow me to contruct a Maschine kit to mix and match internal library samples with other notes played from various VSTs using the Midi out function.
